AU - أحمد، بشرى عثمان AB - هدفت الدراسة معرفة مستوى العرفان بالجميل لدى تدريسي الجامعة والكشف عن الفروق في مستوى العرفان بالجميل تبعا لمتغير الجنس (ذكور- إناث)، والفئة العمرية (30-40، 41-50، 51-60، 60 فأكثر). والتعرف على مستوى حيوية الضمير لدى أفراد عينة البحث، والعلاقة الارتباطية بين العرفان بالجميل وحيوية الضمير. اختيرت عينة عشوائية مكونة من (256) تدريسي جامعي، بواقع (107 ذكر، و 149 أنثى)، وبواقع (48) للفئة العمرية (30-40)، و (76) للفئة (41-50)، و (98) للفئة (51-60)، و (34) للفئة (60 فأكثر). تم تبني وترجمة واستخدام مقياس العرفان بالجميل المكون من (6) فقرات (The Gratitude Questionnaire - Six Item Form (GQ-6))، ومقياس حيوية الضمير (Conscientiousness)، والذي هو أحد أبعاد مقياس العوامل الخمسة الكبرى المعد من قبل John, O. P., & Srivastava, S (1999)، والمكون من (9) فقرات. توصلت النتائج إلى: 1) أن مستوى العرفان بالجميل هو عال لدى عينة البحث. 2) ليس هناك فروق ذات دلالة في العرفان بالجميل، يعزى إلى متغير الجنس (ذكور وإناث). 3) هناك فروق تعزى إلى متغير العمر ولصالح فئة (60) سنة فأكثر. 4) إن مستوى حيوية الضمير لدى أفراد عينة البحث عال جدا، وأن ليس هناك علاقة ارتباطية بين المتغيرين. (الملخص المنشور) http://search.shamaa.org/abstract_ar.gif AB - The aim of the study is to identify the level of gratitude among university instructors and recognize the differences between males and females, and age group (30-40, 41-50, 51-60, over 60). And identify the level of conscientiousness among the research sample, and the correlation between gratitude and conscientiousness. A random sample of (256) university instructors has been selected (107 males and 149 females) and (48) for age group (30-40), 76 for age group (41-50), and 98 for age group (51-60) and 34 for age group (over 60). Two scales have been used in the study. The gratitude questionnaire - six item form (GQ- 6), and the conscientiousness scale, by John, OP, & Srivastava, S. (1999) and consists of 9 items, which is one of the dimensions of the big five factors scale, has been translated and adopted and used in this study. The results showed that the level of gratitude is high among the research sample and that there are no significant differences in gratitude, due to the gender (male and female), and that there are differences attributable to the age and in favor of a category (60 years and over). The level of conscientiousness among the research sample is very high, and that there is no correlation between the two variables.
