AU - غالب، سهام سيف علي AB - This research aims at recognizing of the level of self_ efficiency of students of chemistry at Taiz university. In addition to that it aims at revealing the difference among the students according to the level of study ( 1st to 4th). Furthermore it aims at revealing the correlative relations between self efficiency and academic achievement of chemistry students at Taiz university To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher prepared self efficiency scale and for the level of academic achievement by viewing the rates of the students in the exams in the first semester of the academic year ( 2019/2020). The sample of study consists of 65 students from both genders from the first year and the fourth year at the Faculty of Education at Taiz university (29) male and female students from 1st year and (36) male and female students from 4th year The findings were as follows -There was a middle level of self efficiency of students of chemistry at Taiz University-There were significant statistical differences between the average of degrees of the sample on the scale due to the level of study in favour of the 4th year -There was a positive relation between the self efficiency and academic achievement of Taiz university chemistry students.
