AU - الخروصية، بثينة بنت علي بن عبد الله AB - The aim of study is identify the degree of school principals practice of the participatory leadership of private school in the Governorate of Muscat and its impact on teachers' performance. The relational descriptive approach was used,To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire composed of ( 64) items was designed and distributed After checking the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, (68) Teaher After checking the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, In the Study year 2020-2021. After processing the data using the statistical package (spss), The study highlighted the following findings: The degree of school principals practice of the the degree of school principals practice of the participatory leadership of private school in the Governorate of Muscat was average high with a mean of (3.36), There were significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) Among the average grades of the sample members for degree of school principals practice of the participatory leadership of private school in the Governorate of Muscat From the teachers ’point of view, it is attributed to the variables of gender and years of service. The results also showed that the performance level of teachers in private schools in Muscat Governorate, from their viewpoint, was moderate, The results of the study also showed that there is a positive correlation between the practice of private school principals in the Muscat Governorate of participatory leadership and the performance of teachers in all fields except in the field of human relations and the axis of teacher performance. The most prominent recommendations were: the need to encourage teachers to participate in the planning process, the need to involve them in the school to accomplish educational tasks, the need to understand their problems and work to solve them, and the need to strengthen human relations within the school to do the work.
