AB - The aim of the study is to investigate the effect of cerebral dominance patterns on professional inclinations. The study presented an issue when talented student practice professions that might not support his/her talent. Also, it is considered wasteful to the human capital, due to not using the variety of qualification and abilities of the talented student properly, as they might have jobs that does not suit him/her and may not provide job satisfaction, studies have indicated that knowledge of work mechanism of the brain will positively affects the choice of an individual's career. Due to the scarcity of Arab studies that studied this hypothesis, the sample of the study consisted of (327) talented students in Jeddah, from both middle and high school levels. This descriptive comparative correlation approach has been used for measurement. The professional inclination scale of (HollandRIASEC) which was standardized by Ghassan Al-Siddiqi in the year 2013, and the scale of cerebral dominance of (Torrance) which was standardized by Alaa Hammouda in the year 2015. The study reached results, the most important of which are: There is a statistically significant relationship between cerebral dominance and professional inclination among talented students in Jeddah, which means that knowing the pattern of the brain would reduce the rate of falling into professional choice error. A presence of statistically significant differences in the dominant pattern of cerebral dominance in favor of the left hemisphere. A presence of statistically significant differences between the sample members on the scale of professional inclination according to the variable (gender), as the dominant pattern for males is the rational pattern (I), while the social pattern (S) is the dominant pattern for females.
