AU - الغافري، هاشل AB - The study aimed to define the preventive concepts included in the content of Islamic education books for the twelfth grade of post-basic education in the Sultanate of Oman, so a list of preventive education concepts was built and the list included in its final form (30) concepts that were divided into three areas (psychosocial - political – security - Intellectual), and the researcher transformed the list into an analysis card, and in its light the content of the Islamic Education Book for the twelfth grade was analyzed in its first and second parts The study reached several results, the most important of which are: The two-digit expressions (11 and 29) were obtained and both of them. “Ruling on God and His Messenger” and “Emphasizing the importance of dialogue” is the highest recurrence rate (5.8%, 5.8%), and most of the preventive concepts included in the study tool had medium and high frequency rates. In light of the results, the study made several recommendations, including: Building educational projects in support of the curriculum as applications of preventive education concepts and instilling concepts of preventive education in the university education stage by building a course as a university requirement that includes a number of preventive education concepts suitable for university students.
