AU - العتيبي، مشاري مشعل نايف AU - باجابر، عادل بن عبد الله AU - الحارثي، صبحي بن سعيد بن عويض AB - هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة مستوى القلق لدى طلاب جامعة أم القرى، والتعرف على الرابط بين الخوف من المستقبل وفعالية الذات ومعرفة مستوى فعالية الذات لدى طلاب جامعة أم القرى ومعرفة الفروق بين طلاب الجامعة في مستوى قلق المستقبل والتي تعزى إلى المستوى الدراسي وكذلك معرفة الفروق بين طلاب الجامعة في مستوى قلق المستقبل والتي تعزى إلى التخصص الأكاديمي. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي اعتمادا على بحث الحدث الاجتماعي وتصويره كما وكيفا، وتم عمل البحث على (190) نموذج، منهم (40) استطلاعية، وأدوات الدراسة: مقياس قلق المستقبل (إعداد المشيخي، 2009)، ومقياس فعالية الذات (إعداد العدل، 2001). أكدت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى الخوف من المستقـبل لعينة طلاب جامعة أم القرى متوسط بنسبة 62.33% وأن مستوى فعالية الذات لعينة طلاب جامعة أم القرى قوية بنسبة 69.87% وأن العلاقة الإحصائية الدالة بين أبعاد قلق المستقبل وفعالية الذات علاقة دالة إحصائيا وعكسية وأن العلاقة الإحصائية الدلة بين قلق المستقبل والتخصص الأكاديمي علاقة دالة إحصائيا وكذلك أن العلاقة الإحصائية الدالة بين قلق المستقبل والمستوى الدراسي علاقة غير دالة إحصائيا.
