AU - الجملي، عمر AB - The aim of the study was to identify the effectiveness of a program in developing creative thinking skills for a sample of children in the final year of primary school. The sample consisted of 22 children, which was divided into a control group comprising 11 students, and an experimental group that also included 11 students. The researcher used a program based on videogame design activities that aimed to enable children to design their own videogames. The Torrance test (the figural form) was used to measure the creative thinking skills as a pre and post-test. The Mann Whitney test results indicated the homogeneity of the two groups on the pre-test, while the means of the creativity skills on the post-test for the experimental group were significantly higher than for those of the control group.
