AU - التركي، أشواق حمزة AB - The study aimed to identify the academic preparation requirements for science teachers in the digital age from the perspective of faculty members in the College of Education. The researcher employed a descriptive methodology and used a questionnaire as a data collection tool to achieve the study objectives. The study sample consisted of 50 randomly selected faculty members. The results revealed that the average scores for the dimensions of academic preparation requirements for teachers in the digital age, according to faculty members in the College of Education, were high. The overall average score was 3.94 with a standard deviation of 0.88. Additionally, the results indicated that dimension number 1 (cognitive requirements) ranked first with an average score of 4.02 and a standard deviation of 0.88, while dimension number 4 (technical requirements) ranked last with an average score of 3.88 and a standard deviation of 0.95. Moreover, the study showed no statistically significant differences in all study areas based on the variable of academic qualification, as the significance level for all areas was higher than 0.05. However, statistically significant differences were found in the fourth area (technical requirements) between the "less than 5 years" and "5-10 years" experience categories, with the "5-10 years" category and "more than 10 years" category scoring higher. Additionally, statistically significant differences were observed in the overall area between the "5 - less than 10 years" and "10 or more years" experience categories, with the "5 - less than 10 years" category scoring higher.
