AB - This study was conducted to standardization of Spence Children’s Anxiety Scale (SCAS) (pre-school children forms) in Ibb Governorate, Yemen. The analytical descriptive method was used in the study, The sample of the study consisted of (782) parents for (992) children in the first experiment and (134) parents for (200) children in the final experiment which was selected by employing nonrandom sampling technique. The findings of the study revealed that: 1) The Spence Children’s Anxiety Scale (SCAS) (pre-school children forms) has a good face validity. 2) Spence Children’s Anxiety Scale (SCAS) (pre-school children forms) has a good construct validity. 3) The Spence Children’s Anxiety Scale (SCAS) (pre-school children forms) has a good reliability. 4) The final format of Spence Children’s Anxiety Scale (SCAS) (pre-school children forms) consists of only 28 items and the dimensions of the scale are excessive anxiety (5 items), anxiety the social fear (6 items), manic disorder (5 items), fears of physical injuries (7 items) and the fifth domain is anxiety of separation (5 items). 5) The researchers calculated appropriate criteria for interpreting the child's level of anxiety on the Spence Scale.
