AB - This research aims at measuring the effectiveness of a program based on differentiated instruction in History for developing social responsibility and achievement for the students of second grade of secondary education (2 grade). The program consisted of a general frame, student book, a teacher's guide for teaching the unit of History course "Arab civilization and Islam appearance". The tools are prepared: the scale of social responsibility test of the unit. The research is applied on a sample of 35 student of Al-Alfi second school at North Sinai. The results of research indicated that there are significant statistical differences at the level of (0.01) among the means score of student marks of research of pre and post application of the scale and the achievement test for post application. Also, there is a correlated relation between develop social responsibility and achievement for the sample of the research. (Published abstract) http://search.shamaa.org/abstract_en.gif
