AB - Reading comprehension is the most important skill in language acquisition This study aims at “using two-stay-two-stray technique on Iraq EFL in reading comprehension”. A null hypothesis is adopted in the current study which indicates that there is no statistically significant difference between the performance of students who used new techniques in reading comprehension of that do not use. A sample of the study was 64 from third stage / English Department. A six-week experiment was conducted on in this study. The experiment was started on 11 October and ended on 16th January 2019. This study adopted (pretest- posttest). To ensure validity and reliability, the researcher submitted the test to experts.; the calculated results have shown that there is statistically significant in the performance of students in reading comprehension. Therefore, TS-TS technique is more effective in teaching reading comprehension. Finally, this study has put down conclusions, and some recommendations.
