AU - الطائي، إيمان عبد الكريم AB - One of the most prominent problems faced by university students is the problem of personality, and how it can crystallize and become in the university environment, and how can this personality be, because it bears a great responsibility to look at the future and coexist with it, the marginal personality subject of the research is the one that occupies a position Between two different groups, a place surrounded by a lot of ambiguity and poor identification. As a result, the individual withdraws from the social environment and suffers from psychological conflict and a sense of belonging, powerlessness and loss of influence on others, and here the role of mental health emerges, because it has a great influence in modifying the human personality, because it is the way Psychological compatibility, and the research had a set of goals that the researcher was keen to achieve, which are: 1) Recognizing the marginal personality of university students. 2) Identifying the level of mental health among university students. 3) Identifying the marginal personality according to the variable (gender, males - females) as well as (specialization, (scientific - human). 4) Identifying the level of mental health according to the variable (gender, males - females), as well as (specialization, scientific - human). 5) To identify the nature of the relationship between the marginal personality variable and mental health among university students. To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher adopted the (Mauder 2010) scale, and she adopted the (Coldberg 1972) scale for mental health, and the researcher came up with a set of recommendations and suggestions that worked to enrich the research.
