AU - الجابري، جاسم حسان حميدي AB - The aim of this research was to investigate the power of distractor upon difficulty index and discrimination index of the test items. To achieve the aim above, a multiple-choice test in physics consist of (18) items was constructed. the sample consist of (105) male first grade student was chosen from distinguished school in Al-diwaniya city (2017-2018). The results showed that there was statistical significant difference in mean scores of the difficulty index and crimination index. A number of recommended and suggestions were proposed in the light of the above results.
