AB - هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن صعوبات دور جامعة أم القرى في تنمية قيم العمل التطوعي لدى طالباتها، والكشف عن سبل التغلب على تلك الصعوبات من وجهة نظر طالباتها. ولتحقيق هذين الهدفين اتبعت الدراسة منهجية البحث الوصفي التحليلي واستخدمت الاستبانة كأداة للدراسة، وتم تطبيقها على عينة ممثلة لطالبات كلية التربية بجامعة أم القرى مكونة من (380 طالبة) من المجتمع الأصل، وقد تم تفسير النتائج في ضوء إطار نظري مرجعي اشتمل على منظور الإسلام في العمل التطوعي، ودور الجامعات في تعزيز قيم العمل التطوعي، وكانت أهم النتائج: 1) توجد صعوبات بدرجة (موافق) ومتوسط 3.9 تعوق دور الجامعة في تنمية قيم العمل التطوعي لدى طالباتها في الأبعاد الثلاثة للقياس. 2) توجد (موافقة كبيرة) على عددا من البدائل والحلول التي تفعل دور جامعة أم القرى في تنمية قيم العمل التطوعي. AB - The study aimed to reveal the difficulties of Umm Al Qura University's role in developing the values of volunteer work for its students, and to explore ways to overcome these difficulties from the viewpoint of its students. To achieve these two goals, the study followed the descriptive analytical research methodology and used the questionnaire as a study tool, and was applied to a representative sample of students of the Faculty of Education at Umm Al-Qura University consisting of (380 students) from the parent community, and the results were interpreted in the light of a reference theoretical framework that included the perspective of Islam in the work Volunteerism, and the role of universities in Strengthen the values of volunteerism, and the most important results were: 1) There are difficulties with a degree (Agree) and average of 3.9 that hinder the university's role in developing the values of volunteer work among its students in the three dimensions of measurement. 2) There is (great agreement) on a number of alternatives and solutions that activate Umm Al-Qura University's role in developing the values of volunteerism.
