AU - العازمي، منى لافي AB - هدفت دراسة أسباب انحسار طريقة برايل رغم سهولة الانتشار إلى بيان أسباب انحسار طريقة برايل وتراجع استخدامها من حيث بعدين أساسيين : الأول الكفيف ومجتمعه، والثاني خصائص طريقة برايل والشركات المنتجة لتلك الطريقة. وقد كانت أداة الدراسة عبارة عن استبانة مكونة من 16 فقرة موزعة على بعدين: الأول الكفيف ومجتمعه، والثاني خصائص برايل والشركات المنتجة لها. وقد بلغ عدد عينة الدراسة 100 شخص من المكفوفين وضعاف البصر. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية : وجود تراجع ملحوظ في استخدام طريقة برايل سببه المجتمع والشركات المنتجة لطريقة برايل، اتفاق المكفوفين وضعاف البصر في أسباب تراجع طريقة برايل التي سببها المجتمع والشركات المنتجة واختلاف آرائهم في ما يخص الأسباب التي تعود للشخص الكفيف، ويرجع ذلك إلى القدرات الشخصية وزمن الإعاقة. The study concluded the following results: There is a clear decline in the use of the Braille writing system caused by society and the companies that are producing Braille. There is an agreement among those who are totally and partially blinds on the reasons for the decline of the Braille writing system that is argued to be caused by society and the companies producing it, a disagreement, however, was noticed on the reasons behind the blinds themselves, which can be due to personal abilities and the time of disability.
