AU - خطيب، محمد بن شحات حسين‎ AB - The study aimed to monitor the attitudes of preparatory school students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards tourism, sports and intellectual extremism according to the variables (type of residence, gender, grade level, governorate in which they study, number of family members, the student's arrangement among brothers or sisters in the family, and income the monthly income of the family, the father's education level, the mother's education level, and the number of cars the family owns). The number of male and female sample members was 597 male and female students. It was clear from the results of the study that there were no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the averages of the male and female sample towards the three axes according to the gender variable, while there were statistically significant differences according to the type of housing between male and female students in favor of the male and female students who live in a villa. Statistically significant between male and female students according to the class variable in the axes of tourism and sports in favor of first grade (preparatory) students, and in favor of second-grade students in the axis of intellectual extremism. The results of the study also showed that there are some differences between male and female students according to the variables (the governorate in which the male or female student studies, the number of male and female family members, the student's arrangement among the brothers or sisters in the family, the family's monthly income level, the father or mother's education level, and the number of cars owned by the family) towards the three axes. The researcher recommended that formal and informal educational institutions should play an intense role in promoting positive attitudes and improving attitudes among male and female students.
