AU - الزريقات، عبد الله علي محمد AB - The current research aims to identify the obstacles facing the school principal as a resident supervisor in activating modern teaching strategies from the teachers' point of view. The researcher used the descriptive approach, where a questionnaire was designed as a tool for data collection, and the research sample consisted of (128) male and female teachers in the schools of Jerash Governorate, and they were selected in the available way. The results indicated the level (middle) of the obstacles facing the school principal as a resident supervisor in activating modern teaching strategies from the teachers’ point of view. (Cognitive obstacles) ranked third with a medium degree, followed by the field (technical obstacles) ranked fourth with a medium degree. The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) due to the effect of the variables of gender and years of experience in the obstacles facing the school principal as a resident supervisor in activating modern teaching strategies from the teachers' point of view.
