AU - الوهابي، أميرة بنت سعد AU - المريخي، ريم بنت عويض AU - الزهراني، غادة بنت عطية AU - التويجري، فاطمة بنت عبد العزيز AB - هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تطوير إعداد المعلم في المملكة العربية السعودية في ضوء واقع خبرات الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وسنغافورة وماليزيا. ولتحقيق أهداف هذه الدراسة، فقد اعتمدت على المنهج المقارن نظراً لكونه المنهج الأنسب لموضوع إصلاح وتطوير أنظمة وبرامج إعداد المعلم، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أنه على الرغم من الجهود التي بذلتها المملكة لتطوير برامج إعداد المعلمين إلا أنها لا تزال هناك أوجه من الضعف التي تتمثل في عدم تركيزها على تنمية مهارات التعلم والإدارة الذاتية، وضعف تركيزها على تطوير المهارات البحثية لدى المعلمين. وقد أوصت الدراسة برفع معايير قبول الطلاب في برامج اعداد المعلمين والتركيز على الجانب البحثي والتواصلي والاجتماعي للمعلمين بدرجة أكبر.
