AB - This study aimed to identify the constraints facing educational supervision from the perspective of educational supervisors in the directorates of education of Rass and al-Ula and identify the differences in the perspective of educational supervisors in the directorates of education of Rass and al-Ula according to the variable of (directorate of education). In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive method through survey. The researcher prepared the study tool; a questionnaire consisting of 35 items distributed over four fields. Its validity and reliability were confirmed and it was distributed to the study population consisting of (70) supervisors in the directorates of education of Rass and al-Ula. The study concluded that the constraints of educational supervision from the perspective of educational supervisors in Rass and al-Ula were moderate. The obstacles of educational supervision ranked in descending order as follows: educational planning, professional growth, curriculum and educational administration. There were no statistically significant differences in the impact of the variable of directorate of education for all fields of the study. The study provided some recommendations and suggestions that fit the results derived from it as follows: reviewing the plans and fields of educational supervision by the Ministry of Education and adjusting them in a method that achieves the facilities, competencies, skills and knowledge required by effective supervision, increasing the effectiveness of educational supervision in all its fields through a kind of competition among the directorates of education in the Kingdom regarding the one which offers the best level in educational supervision and conducting further studies on this important topic using different variables.
