AB - The study aimed at identifying the role of professional educational development programs in improving the performance of female teachers according to the views of the educational leaders of girl's high school in Madinah. Use the descriptive method in the survey method to answer the study questions. The questionnaire was used to collect data. The study was applied to the original community for the full study of the 68 high education leaders of the high school. For statistical analysis, the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, T test, mono-variance analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Cronbach alpha factor were used. The study found that the role of professional educational development programs in improving the performance of high school teachers in Madinah according to the views of the educational leaders was strong degree. In light of the results of the study it is recommended that the Ministry of Education establish a database in partnership with the National Center for Vocational Education Development Through which the development needs of teachers are recorded by the educational leaders, based on the results of evaluating the teachers' performance, so that they will be used to determine the developmental needs of the teachers to design programs that suit those needs.
