AB - The current study aimed at investigating the impact of using computer simulation on correcting alternative concepts and developing scientific attitudes of chemistry among the 11th grade female students in Jordan. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a (65) female students of the 11th grade of Ain Al-Basha educational directorate were divided in to two groups, an experimental group, consisted of (33) students, and a control group consisted of (32) students. The researcher used quasi- experimental methodology. To answer the questions of the study, the researcher built a test for the alternative concepts, and a scale to measure to the scientific attitudes. The results showed that there were many alternative concepts among the students of the study sample in the unit of the forms molecules, and cases of maters. Furthermore , the results showed significant statistical differences at (α=0.05) between the means of performance of the experimental and control groups on the alternative concepts test, and a scale to the scientific altitude measurements, in favor of the experimental group, who studied the content by computer simulation. The researcher suggested the following recommendations: 1) use of modern strategies, especially computer simulation. 2) Detect alternative concepts among students. 3) Train teachers to use such strategy.
