AB - This study aimed to find out the effect of academic lecture notes on the cumulative rates of media students in Sudanese universities (fourth-year students of the Faculty of Mass Communication - University of West Kordofan as a model). The researcher used the descriptive approach to conduct the study, the observation tools, and the questionnaire to collect information. And (64) students out of a total of (130) students participated in the study, who are the sample size of the fourth year students of the Faculty of Mass Communication. The study showed that academic notes have a direct impact on academic achievement among media students, and that students who do not have the value of the memo have relatively lower GPAs than those who have the financial ability to purchase notes, and that the lack of references in libraries and the lack of application laboratories and practical training studios are among the most important factors that encourage students. In addition to the general framework of the problem, the study included three variables: academic lectures notes, cumulative rates, and Sudanese universities. At the end of the study, the researcher came up with several recommendations, the most important of which is the necessity of providing the libraries of media colleges with the mothers of media books and creating a suitable environment for students of scientific research while providing an attractive environment and providing the electronic library with the necessary equipment in each college.
