AU - الحامد، عبد الله بن حامد AB - The study aimed to reveal the obstacles in using augmented reality technology in teaching from the perspective of the educational supervisors in Riyadh city. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach. One hundred thirteen educational supervisors, representing (37.2 %) of the population participated in this study. The study used a validated and reliable closed questionnaire contained 34 statements. The results of the study showed that all participants have agreed upon all obstacles which face the use of the augmented reality technology use with a mean score of 3.61. The study also revealed that the Money obstacle comes first with a mean score 4.17, technical obstacles comes second with a mean score 3.80, obstacles related to teachers comes third with a mean score of 3.58, social obstacles related comes fourth with a mean score of 3.44, and obstacles related to learners comes fifth and the last a mean score 2.95. The study also revealed no statistical differences in participants’ responses which may show a relation between the obstacles to using augmented reality technology in teaching with the educational level, specialization or the length of the supervision experience.
