AU - الفراية، سائد صالح AB - The study aimed at identifying the level of emotional processing among students of the media faculties in the Jordanian universities and their relation to the emotional balance. The study was applied to a sample of (210) male and female students who were selected by random sample method from the study society. To achieve the objectives of the study, the emotional balance scale was used (Assaad, 2015). Consisted of (20) Items distributed into four dimensions (tension, hostility, depression, emotional), while emotional processing scale was building consisting of (30) paragraph distributed into three dimensions (control of emotions, flexibility in dealing with the situation, emotional knowledge) , The results indicated that the general arithmetical mean for the grades of the emotional balance rating was High and "moderately" in the intermediate grade, after "depression" at the last level, and to a medium degree. The overall arithmetic mean of the emotional processing scores is average Emotional knowledge is the highest dimension with a high degree, followed by the second dimension: the flexibility in dealing with the situation with a medium degree, and finally the first dimension: control of the emotions with a medium degree. The study found that there is a statistically significant relationship at the level of significance (0.05) between the level of emotional balance and the emotional processing estimate of (-0.89). The study recommended to provide guidance and rehabilitation programs for students of the faculties of media to develop the emotional balance skills.
