AB - The present study aimed at developing a model for developing educational technology courses in the light of educational technology standards through answering the following questions: the study sample consisted of educational technology courses in four public universities. A content analysis tool was developed, its validity was tested by a set of juries, and its reliability was tested and was found to be (P, MJ). Results of the study indicated that the availability of national educational technology standards is moderate in educational technology courses in Sana’a university but very low in the rest of universities. Results also indicated an imbalance in the distribution of national educational technology standards in educational technology courses. The first strand of national educational technology standards got the highest percentage of availability (32%), while evaluation standards got the lowest percentage of availability. The study results also showed that there was no compliance between the distribution of national educational technology standards in educational technology courses as a result of analysis of their content and the distribution estimated by juries. The study proposed a model for developing educational technology courses in Yemeni universities in the light of educational technology standards.
