AU - عسكر، سمر طاهر فؤاد AB - Adolescence is one of the most important stages of growth in an individual's life, It is the period of searching for identity, where the adolescent is always preoccupied with the search for his or her identity, and based on what the adolescent achieves from success or failure to search for his or her identity, he or she will either be able to achieve his or her identity (the positive pole) or fail to do so ( the negative pole) and will experience a continuous crisis throughout his or her life. The results of the current study are as follows: 1) There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of adolescents with high and low self-esteem on each degree of identity achievement in the direction of high self-esteem. 2) There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of adolescents with high and low self-esteem on each degree of identity statues (Identity moratorium, Identity for enclosure, Identity diffusion) in the direction of low self-esteem. 3) There is not a statistically significant differences between the mean scores of Males and females with high and low self esteem on each degree of Identity statues. 4) There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of adolescents with high and low self-esteem on each degree of suggestibility in the direction of low self-esteem. 5) There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of Males and females with high and low self-esteem on each degree of suggestibility in the direction of females.
