AU - Al-Shami, Abdel Rahman M.S. AB - This study evaluates the graduate program of the Faculty of Mass Communication at the University of Sana'a, from the viewpoint of students, faculty and administration, through a survey of a sample of 130 students and 16 faculty and all administration members. The study reveals numerous shortcomings that plague the program. The most notable from the viewpoint of the students are inadequacies in the physical and academic infrastructure, and various instruction and research drawbacks. The students expressed a “medium” degree of satisfaction with the program, and felt that it has at best met their prior expectations to a “good” degree. Meanwhile, academic staff levelled numerous criticisms at the program, centred on lack of adequate planning and lack of involvement of all faculty members, professionals and practitioners in its design.
