AU - جياد، إيناس زيد AU - كامل، سلمى حسين AB - The current research aims at identifying the behavior of psychological solitude among female students through the verification of the objective of the research which is to measure the level of behavior of psychological solitude of the female students. The research is limited to female students of intermediate schools of the district of Baquba for the academic year (2017 - 2018). The researcher adopted the descriptive approach and applied a scale of psychological solitude to the sample of the research which was chosen on purpose from the intermediate schools located in the center of the district of Baquba. The sample consisted of (400) students selected from the research community. To achieve aims of the study, the researcher constructed a scale of solitude. The psychometric properties and the statistical characteristics of the paragraphs were extracted. The face validity and reliability of the scale were ensured. The study findings showed that there is a high level of psychological solitude among female orphans. The study ends up with a number of recommendations and suggestions.
