AB - This study aimed at investigating the female teachers' opinions concerning the importance of using educational technology in teaching. The study also aims at the difficulties that face them in using them. The effect of variables such as teaching experience, specialization, qualifications and the stage the teacher teaches on the female teachers opinion concerning the importance of using educational technology was also investigated. Sample of the study included 151 female teachers working at the intermediate and the secondary stage. Suitable statistical analyses were used to answer the study questions. Results of the study revealed that 79.8 % of the sample had positive attitude towards using educational technology in teaching. There were no statistical significant differences of the variables teaching experience, specialization and qualifications on the degree of teachers' use of educational technology. There were statistical significant differences of the variable the stage at which the teacher teaches on her use of educational technology in favor of teachers at the secondary stage. The study also revealed some difficulties the teachers face when they use educational technology such as the absence of equipped classrooms for technology use. The number of educational equipments is not sufficient for teaching and the facilities needed for using technology are not available. The absence of school facilities that aid the use of educational technology and the great number of students in the classroom are other difficulties. The study presented some recommendations.
