AB - The study aimed to identify the impact of cooperative learning strategy. The results of achievement tests and achievement of some gymnastics and athletics skills using the cooperative learning strategy at the level of physical, skill and cognitive abilities of Syrian refugee students in schools in Jerash governorate. The sample of the study consisted of (20) Syrian refugee students from Makrani center in Jerash governorate for the academic year 2017/2018. An educational program was developed using the cooperative learning strategy to teach the gymnastics activities (the rounded front wheel, handstand, side balance, and to teach the activities of athletics (long jump), and its implementation for six weeks and the five units of education, and an indication of its impact on improving the performance and achievement of skills in gymnastics and athletics, and was adopted a special form to measure the improvement of performance on gymnastics and athletics under study after analysis motor skills to stages and evaluated by experts, as well as the adoption of an achievement test in the relevant skills. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the experimental method for its suitability to the nature of the study. The statistical methods represented by the arithmetic averages, the standard deviations, the coefficient of variation, the correlation coefficients and the t-test of the two groups were used. The results of the study showed that the learning program based on the cooperative learning strategy had a positive effect on learning the skills of gymnastics (rolling front wheel, handstand, lateral balance, human wheel of running) and athletics skills (long jump), and showed significant differences in the level physical, cognitive and cognitive abilities in post-test. In the light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended the introduction of the learning strategy based on cooperative learning in teaching, to help students to teach skills in different sports and related cognitive abilities.
