AB - The aim of the research is to identify the effect of the use of the strategy of cooperative integration (GESCO) in teaching some basic volleyball skills (Transmission, reception, scrolling) and cognitive achievement and the attitudes of students in the fourth-grade secondary school. The researcher used the experimental method in the design of the two groups, one experimental and the other control and pre-post measurement of the two groups. The sample included (64) students of the fourth grade secondary school in Ahwaz Boys School in Diyala Province. The exploratory studies were conducted on (24) students and the basic study was conducted on (40) students. They were randomly divided into two groups, one experimental with (20) students and the other control with (20) students. The researcher used a set of physical tests and basic skills tests (Transmission, reception, scrolling) and the cognitive achievement of knowledge and attitudes of students towards teaching the strategy of cooperative integration (GESCO). The results showed that the strategy of cooperative integration had a positive effect on cognitive achievement, and learning some of the motor skills in volleyball (Transmission from bottom, reception from bottom, scrolling from bottom) or fourth-grade secondary students, and forming positive attitudes among students in the experimental group towards education using the strategy of cooperative integration in volleyball. The researcher also found the need to use the strategy of cooperative integration in the teaching of motor skills in volleyball, And in the achievement of knowledge in the study of physical education for students in the fourth grade secondary and in other collective and individual activities.
