AU - القشي، يوسف شاهر AU - خطايبة، عبد الله محمد AB - هدفت الدراسة الكشف عن درجة اشتمال كتاب العلوم الحياتية للصف التاسع الأساسي في الأردن على عادات العقل وفقًا لمشروع (2061). ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة، تمّ بناء أداة تحليل لعادات العقل الخمس الرئيسة التي انبثقت عن مشروع (2061) التابع للجمعية الأمريكية لتقدم العلوم (American Association for the Advancement of Science: AAAS) وهي: القيم والاتجاهات، الحساب والتقدير، التحكم اليدوي والملاحظة، مهارات الاتصال والتواصل، ومهارات الاستجابة الناقدة. وقد تم التحقق من صدق وثبات الأداة، واستخدم الباحثان التكرارات والنسب المئوية في المعالجة الإحصائية، وتم الاتفاق على اعتبار الفقرة وحدة للتحليل. بلغ عدد الفقرات المحللة (988) فقرة. أظهرت النتائج عدم توازن في تضمين عادات العقل في كتاب العلوم الحياتية، حيث وردت عادة العقل "مهارات الاتصال والتواصل " بنسبة كبيرة (61%) مقارنةً بالعادات الأخرى، ثم عادة "القيم والاتجاهات" بنسبة متوسطة (26%)، ثم عادة "التحكم اليدوي والملاحظة" بنسبة قليلة (11%) ثم عادة "مهارات الاستجابة الناقدة "بنسبة قليلة جدا (2%) وعدم اهتمام الكتاب بعادة "الحساب والتقدير" (0%). To achieve this aim, a tool was developed for the analysis of the five main habits of mind that emerged from the AAAS Project (2061): values and attitudes, computation and estimation, manipulation and observation, communication skills, and critical response skills. The researchers used frequencies and percentages in statistical processing, the paragraph was used as a unit of analysis. The number of paragraphs analyzed was (988). The results showed an imbalance in the inclusion of habits of mind in the biology textbook: The "communication skills" responded by a large percentage (61%) compared to other habits, "values and attitudes" by an average percentage (26%), "manipulation and observation" by a small percentage (11%), "critical response skills" by very little percentage (2%), and the textbook does not include the habit of "calculation and appreciation" (0%). It was recommended that authors should have an emphasis on the equiponderant inclusion of habits of mind in science textbooks.
