AU - وحشه، نايف علي نايف AB - The study aims at King Abdullah II School of Excellence in Irbid Govern ate and recognizing the variation of the emotional intelligence using “Bar On” Model on those teachers. The study involved a sample of all female and male teachers at King Abdullah II School of Excellence in Irbid Govern ate, who were (63) teachers: (24) males and (39) females during the school year (2015-2016). The study followed the descriptive and survey method by using “Bar On” Model after proving its validity; it has (47) sections about the dimensions of the following five emotional intelligence criteria: intrapersonal, interpersonal, stress management, adaptability, and general mood. The study concludes the following: 1) The level of emotional intelligence of King Abdullah II School of Excellence teachers is high. 2) There are statistically significant differences (α=0.05) due to the differences in gender into interpersonal section and the emotional intelligence as a whole. The differences were in favor of females whereas there are no other differences concluded.
