AU - الربضي، وصال جريس AB - For the purpose of improving an educational program in Scuba diving for beginners, this case study aims to identify the extent of the relationship between physiological variables such as heart rate, blood pressure, lung capacity, and the rate of air consumption after an individual diving attempt to different depths. The study also aims to identify how certain blood chemistry aspects, for example, concentration of red and white blood cells, Hemoglobin content and platelet count are altered. This program was held for a time period scheduled from March 15th to April 9th 2016. Researchers implemented an experimental program to measure certain aspects according to the principle of pre- and post-action. 15 participants were selected for this case study from students of the Faculty of Physical Education. Blood samples were taken before the application of the program. The proposed educational program was applied to the participants by teaching them special skills to reach the degree of professional open water diver. The statistical analysis of the results showed a significant difference in the efficiency of the Circulatory and the Respiratory systems. Tutorials promote low pulse and blood pressure (systolic and diastolic) and they enhance the participants’ lung capacity. The researchers recommend the use of planned educational programs in diving.
