AU - آل مداوي، عبير محفوظ محمد AB - The current study aimed at determining the role of strategic planning in environmental crises management at King Khalid University and providing suggestions for practicing strategic planning in environmental crises management to avoid future negative consequences. The study used the descriptive analytical method. The sample consisted of (71) members of female deans, managing agents and department heads, and (29) administrators. A questionnaire was designed to investigate the role of strategic planning in environmental crises management from the perspective of the study sample. The study revealed that there was no adequate level of strategic planning at King Khalid University .It also showed that the sample did not agree on the existence of suitable requirements of strategic planning in environmental crises management. They agreed on the existence of strategic planning obstacles. Most of them agreed on the propose ways of overcoming such obstacles. Finally there were statistically significant differences at (0.01) between the means of the sample responses about strategic planning in environmental crises management in favor of job variable.
