AB - The present study aimed to find out how the children of the Algerian environment respond to some tests and measurements designed at foreign environment among Western environments, and to achieve this goal we rely on test preparations named "Stairs / or battery preparations for children (2 ½- 8 years) Mc CARTHY". This study was part implicit for long study that aimed to identify some of the preparations and the skills of knowledge of a child in the preparatory phase (5-6 years) and when the child accesses to the first primary year, the study was limited to the detection and measurement of mental preparations such as (mental, linguistic, physical, motor) that can be displayed by a child at this stage, and to know their role in the development of some of the initial skills (visual discrimination, auditory, understanding, comprehension audio, memory verbal, numerical and sensual, visual control and fine and large muscles visual motor synergies, hiring Lexicon vocabulary, cognition), all these skills are considered basic prepares the child to begin to learn and acquire skills (language, reading, writing, calculation). The results of this study:- Adaptation and the application of the test preparations for children MSCA on children Algerian environment detects and measures the aptitudes and some initial cognitive skills. There are statistically significant differences between the four groups; the difference was in favour of the third group, then the first group.
