AU - العيسى، إبراهيم بن محمد بن عبد الله AB - This study aimed to identify how to prepare scholars in the light of Islamic educational thought through factors which formed the personality of Abdurrahman Bin Khaldun. The researcher used the descriptive documentary method to answer the first and second questions, and used the historical and deductive approaches to answer the third question. The current study concluded that: First: the concept of the science includes any science providing benefit to people in our life and life hereafter, and the scholar is the one who has specialized knowledge in any field of beneficial religious or worldly sciences. Second: the scholar must have the following: Mastering science principles. Receiving the science from a master scholar. Seeking science in face of all obstacles. Having high ambitions and self-confidence. Being prudence and not rushing to obtain international recognition. The science obtained must have a positive impact on scientist behavior. Providing science to those who may need it, and spreading it among people. Third: There are different factors which have great impact in preparing scholar. They are: 1) Religious factors. 2) Intellectual factors. 3) Social factors. 4) Psychological factors. 5) Educational factors. 6) Political factors. 7) Economic factors. Fourth: there are three social bodies that are responsible for preparing the scholar, namely: the family, political authority and scientific institutions for different sciences.
