AB - The study aimed to identify the relationship between negative thinking and statistical anxiety among postgraduate students at the Faculty of Education, King Saud University. The sample of the study consisted of (102) postgraduate students studying the courses of statistics in the Faculty of Education, including 77 master students and 25 PhD students and different disciplines. Data was collected using the negative-positive scale of thinking prepared by Abdel-Mureid Kassem for the Saudi environment, and the statistical anxiety scale, which was translated and codified on the Saudi environment by Mr. Mohammed Abu Hashim. However, by using averages and standard deviations, t-test, and multiple regression analysis, the result showed that postgraduate students have an average level of negative thinking (M= 2.71), and an average level of statistical anxiety (M= 3.11). The results showed that master's students had an average level of statistical anxiety (M= 5.55) higher than the average level of doctoral students (4.44), (T = 3.64; α = 0.002). Also, the result showed predictability of statistical anxiety through the dimensions of negative thinking (positive expectations, positive riskiness, Learning and cognitive development, feeling of satisfaction).
