AB - This study aimed at exploring the environmental values included in Science textbook of the fifth basic grade in Jordan. The researcher has used the descriptive and analytical approach since it is consistent with the objectives of the study. The researchers analyzed the content of Science textbook by using a special categorization as a tool to analyze the content. The validity of the tool and reliability of the analysis were obtained. The results of the study showed that: The number of values deducted from the textbook reached (24). Total values were (371) values in Science textbook of the fifth basic grade. The results of the study showed the values rationalization of consumer behavior to environmental resources occupied the first position, the values of environmental conservation gained the second position, the health values occupied the third position, the environmental values of beauty was placed the forth position. The results of the study showed the values in Science textbook were not well-organized on environmental values areas. (Published abstract) http://search.shamaa.org/abstract_en.gif
