AU - العبد الكريم، إيمان بنت عمر AU - الشايع، فهد بن سليمان AB - The purpose of this research was to study the effects of an Assessment for Learning Model on the Learning-related Social Skills of sixth grade students. The Model was implemented on two sixth grade classes of two participating teachers in different schools (experimental group, n= 79). The researchers used quasi- experimental approach which compared the Learning-related Social Skills of the experimental group to the Learning-related Social Skills of sixth grade students which were taught traditionally without using the Model (control group, n=76). A Learning-related Social Skills scale was developed, and then reviewed by Professors in Science Education, Measurement and Evaluation, and Science Supervisors for validity. The reliability of the scale indicated a high value. A t-test was applied to compare the means of the Learning-related Social Skills of the experimental and control groups in each school; results showed significant differences between the two groups in favor of the experimental groups, which indicated the effectiveness of the Assessment for Learning model in enhancing these skills.
