AU - بنين، آمال AU - بنين، إبتسام AB - This study aims to highlight the reality of gifted students with learning difficulties in the Algerian school by identify their percentage among secondary school students in El-Oued city and try to identify the reasons and factors that contributed to the emergence of this group. The study was applied to a sample of 60 students from 2nd year secondary classes branch of experimental sciences at Chennouf Hamza techniquaume in El-Oued city by following the descriptive method and using each of: Raven's successive matrices Test, Toranse 's creative thinking Test; and mathematics learning difficulties Test developed for this study. The study found that the gifted students with learning difficulties represented 5% of the students and the emergence and growth of this group in the Algerian school is due to many subjective and environmental factors. These results were discussed in the light of the theoretical framework and previous studies so, some recommendations related to the theme were suggested.
