AU - حسن، هيبه ممدوح محمود AB - The study aimed to find the relation between Parental Rearing Styles and positive thinking skills according to some demographic variable in sample of secondary school girls. The study sample consisted of (200) students in the first and third year of the scientific and literary sections, between(18) to (19) years and the study tools were two measures of parental treatment and positive thinking skills which were prepared by the researcher. The results concluded that there was a statistically significant relation between parental treatment methods and positive thinking skills. There were also statistically significant differences in parental treatment methods according to the variables of specialization (for students of scientific specialization), and the lack of statistically significant differences in the positive thinking according to the previous variable.
