AU - عبد الحلي، مها أحمد AB - This study was conducted in the state of the Nile River in Atbara city in order to find out the best ways of health guidance on AIDS. The sample consisted of about 200 students who were selected in a random simple and used to collect students' personal interview data. The results showed that the percentage of knowledge of the disease among the students reached (99.5%), which shows the plenty of cultural information about the disease. The most important sources of this knowledge were television and lectures (36%), followed by radio (14%) and newspapers (10%). The knowledge of transition, treatment, prevention and knowledge of the most vulnerable groups was good. As for the best means of health guidance, the study showed that students chose lectures and seminars by (21.5%). They chose the method of discussion during lectures and seminars by (65.3%) to be in a public place (community) by (57.5%). The results of the study confirmed the importance of health guidance for students (89.5%). As for the selection of students for the best ways to reach them on health education, the areas of choice were limited between the programs of health education school (76.5%) and educational programs on radio and television (76.5%). As for the lectures in the social clubs, it was (65.5%). The selection rate through the curriculum by the teacher was 40.5%. Religious associations 53.5% and colleagues 13.5%.
