AU - الكخن، أمين بدر AU - أبو الشيخ، عطية إسماعيل AB - This study aimed at measuring the effect of teaching Arabic Grammar, on the students' achievement as compared with the normal class method. This study attempted to answer the following questions: 1) Does tenth-graders' achievement learning grammar subject through the concept maps strategy differ from those learning through the traditional way (dominant)? 2) Does the effect of teaching using maps strategy on students; achievement differ by gender? 3) Are there statistically significant differences in the tenth graders' achievement attributed to the interaction between the teaching method (concept maps) and traditional (dominant), on one hand, and the gender, on the other The study sample was chosen by intentional selective manner, and included (160) tenth grade, male and female students The researcher uses and quasi-experimental method in the field application aspect in order to answer the study questions. For the purpose of data analyzing and obtaining the results, the researcher used the ANCOVA method to compare the post means of the experimental group marks and those of the control group.
