AB - The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of the knowledge society concept, its characteristics, and efficiencies of continuous education and requirements in a knowledge society. The research employed the descriptive methodology using a questionnaire surveying a random sample of 83 faculty members. Data shows that the knowledge society is a concept which is based on different principles and properties that are based on various aspects of human modern lives. Accordingly, the continuous education in the knowledge society requires fundamental changes including: concepts and objectives; content; methods and management. Moreover, the importance of continuous education efficiencies and requirements in the knowledge society is very high. Findings show that there is a significant statistical differences among respondents favoring graduates from Arab universities, and those with more than 10 years of experience.
