AB - The research aimed to identify the most suitable interaction between the pictures’ query patterns ( the query pattern that based on the metadata of the picture, the query pattern that based on the visual properties of the picture, the query pattern that based on the integration between the metadata and the visual properties of the picture), the cognitive patterns of the learner (wholist / pictorial, analytical / pictorial, wholist / verbal, analytical / verbal) to achieve the best design of e-learning environments, which help to develop reading pictures’ skills and illustration shapes skills, by following a set of appropriate instructional design procedures to a proposed e-learning environment that based on pictures, illustrations of the two educational units in the course of “computer networks” ,for fourth year students of preparing the computer teacher at the faculty of specific education at Damietta university.the research findings have showed the existence of the significant statistical evidence in reading pictures skills and illustrations skills due to the fundamental influence of the difference of query patterns within the e-learning environments, as well as the significant statistical evidence in reading pictures’ skills and illustration shapes skills due to the fundamental influence of the difference in cognitive patterns within the e-learning environments, and finally the existence of the significant statistical indicator in reading pictures skills and illustrations skills due to the fundamental influence of the interaction between query patterns variable ,and cognitive patterns variable within the e-learning environments.
