AB - The aim of this research is the role of the principal of the high school in activating the school laboratories in Riyadh city, through a role and the barriers that may oppose their tasks. The machinery of research was questionnaire of 44 items. The results showed a great and good variety in characteristics of the school principals, and it also made it clear that the academic and educational level unable to carry out the training programmers, and the wearkness of authorities given to the school principals in taking decisions to develop laboratories.
