AB - This research aims to identify the difference between the brainstorming style and command on cognitive achievement of teaching method and developing scientific thinking. The researcher uses the experimental method which was represented by a sample of third stage students of college of physical Education, Salahadden University. This sample chosen randomly was divided into two groups which each group consisting of 20 students. One of the groups was an experimental group studied by the brainstorming style; the other was control group studied by the command style. The tools of this research were achievement test of teaching methods and scientific thinking. The validity and reliability of each test was ensured. The researcher considers providing both face validity and content validity of the experiment. He arranges a teaching program consisting of 32 sections, 16sections for each group and 2 sections a week. The brainstorm style applied to the experimental group and the command style to the control group. After finishing the application of the program, the two test were used, the data which following were processed by statistical materials. These statistical materials represented by (t) test for independent and equal samples. The researcher arrived at the following conclusion: The experimental group studied by the brainstorming style received higher than the control group studied by the command style. This was resulting from test of cognitive achievement in teaching method and developing scientific thinking. The researcher recommends using the brainstorming style rather than the command style, describing it as the better one to arrive at the teaching methods and developing scientific thinking.
