AB - The study aimed to identify the reality of the teaching profession and make proposals to improve it from the point of view of teachers and through the survey of international experiences in improving the teaching profession and preparing teachers. The results of the study showed that the reality of the teaching profession in Jordan lies in the following: Teaching is still based on traditional teaching and evaluation strategies. The tests are still based on the paper and pen. It measures the amount of information stored in the student's mind. The teacher is still a vector of information from the book to the student's mind. The teachers' quorum of the classes, ranging from (5-6) per day, as they mentioned that the profession of teaching from the hard professions of the human being, both during the day or several and concern to correct the duties of students, and there is a lack of availability of equipment, tools, Course syllabus.
