AU - سويلم، محمد محمد غنيم AB - The purpose of this study was to determine the academic development practices among university students in light of high performance indicators selected from the literature of contemporary higher education, and to identify the perceptions of Jazan University students regarding these practices. The researchers designed a questionnaire of 21 items to collect the data from a random sample of 691 students. Results of the study revealed that the level of university students response regarding the academic development practices was moderate (mean=3.14), the mean scores of all responses ranged from 2.70 to 3.53. Results also showed that there were statistically significant differences among students’ responses due to college and GPA variables. However; results didn’t reveal any significant differences due to gender variable. (Published Abstract) http://search.shamaa.org/abstract_en.gif AB - هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تحديد ممارسات التنمية الأكاديمية لدى طلبة الجامعات في ضوء مؤشرات سقف الأداء المرتفع المستنبطة من أدب التعليم العالي المعاصر، وإلى التعرّف على تقديرات واقع هذه الممارسات لدى طلبة جامعة جازان من وجهة نظر الطلبة أنفسهم. ولجمع البيانات، صمم الباحثان استبانة تكوّنت من 21 فقرة، تم التحقق من خصائصها السيكومترية. وطبّقت على عينة عشوائية بلغت 691 طالبا وطالبة. وقد بيّنت نتائج الدراسة أن طلبة الجامعة يقدّرون واقع ممارسات التنمية الأكاديمية لديهم بدرجة متوسطة، وبمتوسط حسابي بلغ 3,14. وتراوحت متوسطات تقديراتهم ما بين 2,70 – 3,53. كما بيّنت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات تقديراتهم تعزى إلى متغير الكلية لصالح كل من علمية وإنسانية، وإلى متغير تقدير المعدل التراكمي لصالح تقدير (ممتاز)، في حين لم توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا تعزى إلى متغير الجنس.
